Inergen is a brand name for an IG-541 system. Jianan supplies IG-541 systems only under its own product designation.
IG-541 System Features
- Defined Inert Gas Blend: IG-541 consists nominally of 52% nitrogen, 40% argon, and 8% carbon dioxide. The correct gas composition and qualified filling capability should be confirmed before system selection.
- Oxygen-Reduction Fire Suppression: IG-541 suppresses fire by reducing the oxygen concentration within the protected enclosure to a calculated level that no longer supports continued combustion.
- Clean and Electrically Nonconductive: The agent leaves no water, foam, powder, or liquid residue and does not conduct electricity. It is suitable for enclosed spaces containing electrical, electronic, telecommunications, and control equipment.
